The Wando Girls Golf Team finished in First Place at the Charleston Classic Invitational Tournament at Rivertowne Country Club. Competing against a strong field of 20 teams, Wando posted a team score of 330. Philip Simmons and Hilton Head tied for second place with scores of 344. Leading the way for the Warriors was Piper Simpson, who delivered a personal best round of 77 to pace the Wando lineup. Angelina Li followed with an impressive 81, while Quinn Simpson and Nora Williamson each carded an 86 to round out the team total. Maelle Dickerson also contributed a consistent 91, giving the Warriors another strong performance. Wando has now started the season with a 4-0 match record, while claiming its first tournament championship of the year. ??
