WANDO GIRLS GOLF TEAM CAPTURED THE HOLY CITY CUP TOURNAMENT

The Wando Girls Golf team captured the Holy City Cup Tournament by turning in an impressive team score of 324 to claim the tournament championship.

The Holy City Cup, hosted by Wando Girls Golf, brought together 17 teams from across the Lowcountry for a competitive 18-hole tournament.
Wando was led by Piper Simpson, who shot an outstanding round of 78 to earn a spot on the All-Tournament Team.

Nora Williamson followed with an impressive 81, while Maëlle Dickerson carded an 82. Angelina Li rounded out the scoring for the Warriors with an 83, giving Wando a balanced team performance.

Philip Simmons High School finished second with a team score of 340, while Bishop England High School placed third at 344.

Wando’s second team also turned in a strong performance, finishing ninth overall with a team score of 382. Tabby Pfarr paced the second team with an impressive 92, followed by Alex Walker with a 94 and Sophie Goodes with a 95. Brexley Novotney rounded out the scoring with a 101. Siri Mohn also competed for the Warriors and posted a 97.

Having both Wando teams finish in the top nine showcased the depth of the Lady Warrior program and the continued development of players throughout the roster.
